Sharp-eyed Shooters hit Charity target

SHARP-eyed shooters have hit the target to help severely ill babies.
Members of Chadderton Rifle and Pistol Club have given £610.50p to the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital. The vital cash was raised during a charity shoot, which was held at the group's headquarters at Springhead Community Centre, Lees. On hand to collect the cash was hospital nurse Jean Smith.
Holding the cheque are, from left, Jean Smith, Dave Flannery, Dave Cox and Veronica Best. (07609)

Below is our .22 rf sporting rifle range, the top photo shows the view from the firing point and below that is the view from the other end. This was originally our .22 rf pistol range until the government put an illegal compulsory purchase order on our pistols, for which we will never forgive them.
